SUPPORT

Our membership of about 45 moms is full of women from all over the world.  As you may know, Prescott is a growing "melting pot" where there are not many of us "from" here.  With that in mind, we are almost all in the same boat; in a new city with no friends.  That is why our group is so great, we already have something in common! :)  Our membership is such an interesting and diverse group of women from business women, lawyers, retail associates, pharmacists, emergency medical technicians, nurses, doctors, hair stylists, real estate agents, teachers...who all have children and need emotional, psychological and sometimes physical support.  That is what MOMS Club is all about.  Please come and check us out a time or two.  By filling out the information on the Contact Us page, we will forward you a few meeting options for you to visit with us. We would love you have you as a member!  You may also email us at moms@momsclubofprescott.com

MOMS NIGHT OUT

We hold MOMS Night Out once a month where "just the girls" do something fun.  Sample MOMS Nights Out (MNO) for us are:

• Dinner out
• Scavenger Hunt with dinner to conclude
• Spa Night at a members house
• Movie Night
• Wedding Album Night (February) everyone bring their wedding album and trade
• Pottery Painting
• Game Night

MOMS ACTIVITIES

We have mini-groups within the club for particular interests:

• Craft Club
• Fitness Club
• Hiking & Breakfast Club
• Cooking Club
• Discussion Group

KIDS ACTIVITIES AND PLAYGROUPS

Since our organization revolves around our children, all of our programs are child-friendly.  You are never "not allowed" to bring your child along.  We have something on the calendar nearly every day of the week.  We have organized age-based playgroups weekly.  During the nice weather we often meet at the Square Downtown or in one of our many local parks.  We visit the zoo regularly, meet at the mall, and have pot-luck lunches at member's houses.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

We are very proud of our community involvement.  We set a goal of completing at least one service project a quarter, but often surpass the goal.  Some past projects have been:

• Cookie Bake and Delivery to Fire and Police Stations in remembrance of September 11th.
• School Supply Drive
• Yard and Bake Sale for Hurricane Katrina Relief
• Great American Bake Sale for Share Our Strength
• Adopting Shelters and Families at Christmas
• Ginger Bread House Contest for Big Brothers/Big Sisters
• Food Drive for Yavapai Food Bank
• Coat Drive
• Diaper Drive
• Leukemia Walk

FAMILY DAY

A few times a year we have family day in which we meet at a members house or a local park and have all family members present; mom, dad, and kids for family fun. This is a great time for dads to get involved and meet the group.  They often find friends within the MOMS Club too!

DUES

Our dues are $20 per year.  Dues pay for supplies, programs, and activities for the group.  You may attend two business meetings  before deciding if you wish to join.
